A high quality process that was traditionally used for long-runs and multi-page formats, but since the advancement in digital technology we are able to combine both fundamentals to achieve speed and print perfection. The digital technology has revolutionised the time that a printed sheet works its way through the production process to the point of delivery and invariably the process is more able to compete with shorter production runs and delivery times. With the use of inline driers we are able to print and finish most printed material within 24 hours which is useful if you have a promotional brochure that needs to go to market or an urgent research paper for your clients or a report and accounts to send to your shareholders.

We deploy the use of a PressProfiler which provides a CIP 3 file to control our ink settings which increases efficiency and reduces waste. When the proof is approved the profiler will coordinate with the press and optimise the print quality effectively and efficiently. Our press room thrives on this technology, but also retain the traditional skills of knowing what good printing should look like. To continue with our environmental strategy we use vegetable-based inks and solvent-free solutions throughout the process.

Our high level of investment has led us to the purchase of two 5-colour Heidelberg Speedmasters that will deliver consistent quality from file to printed sheet and is capable of short-run as well as long run production. You will view some fine examples of this type of printing in our Case Studies section of the website.
